Our family’s favorite candy combined with social media’s suggested dessert right now, make this week’s variation! You’ve probably seen cookie and candy mash ups posted on Tasty, Pinterest, and Facebook recently. I know I have and so has our teenager. Some people use Oreos and chocolate chip cookie dough, some rolos’ and brownies. Endless possibilities when it comes to candy and cookie or bar mixes. We just had to jump on the train and try it out. This might just blow friends and fam away at your Super Bowl Party.!
What you need:
- OKB Brownie Mix
- OKB Blondie Mix
- 9 standard size Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups
- ½ cup Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips
Mix both the brownie and blondie as per package instructions. (I mixed one, spread in the pan and then mixed the other in the same bowl to minimize dishes 😊)
Spread the brownie batter into a parchment lined 8×8 pan and place 9 Reese’s cups, evenly spaced over the batter, pushing down slightly. The good news is if you buy the standard two pack Reese’s there’s one left over to eat!!!!!
Next mix and gently spread the blondie mix over the brownie batter and Reese’s.
Sprinkle the Resee’s peanut butter chips over the blondie batter and press them down slightly.
Pop in a 350-degree oven for 45 min or until done through the center. This recipe does take more cooking time due to the volume of better you are cooking.
Once out of the oven cool completely, cut, and enjoy.
I highly recommend a big ice cold glass of milk!!! Mmmmm Mmmm
