When you’re diagnosed with several food allergies in elementary school, and you go to the birthday party you’ve been looking forward to all week—only to realize that you can’t enjoy any of the party goodies, it’s a super-duper bummer! This was the gloomy reality for the Jarvis brothers, Nathan and Daniel.
We created Off Kilter Brownies from a desire to be able to have delicious treats along with everyone else. We set out to make the best brownie ever—and believe we have achieved exactly that! It’s a privilege to now share our original brownie mix (and other mixes) with all of you.
Off Kilter mixes are gluten- and grain- free and are easily adjusted to accommodate dairy, egg, and soy allergies! We have also developed keto and vegan versions of our brownie mix, and we currently have keto and vegan blondie mixes in the works.
Our goal is to make sure EVERYONE—with or without allergies—can enjoy our products. We don’t want anyone to be left out of the goodness!
Born and raised in Texas, Daniel loves to make and eat great food. He spends his time cooking and exploring with the kids, building a family business, and serving in his local church and community.
Born and raised in Texas, alongside his brother Daniel, Nathan loves food and the hospitality industry. He uses his combined experience in hospitality, culinary arts, food science, and food safety to help create amazing allergen-friendly options.
Raised in Colorado and transplanted to Texas, Katie moved south to raise a family with Daniel. She loves training horses, running a homestead, and homeschooling their 3 kiddos.
Diagnosed with food allergies in the early 1980’s, Liesl found the options for everything were so limited. She now not only has more options, but loves using her background in recipe development, baking, and cooking to create amazing options.
